Credit Data and Consumer Rights

It is important for you to know your rights as a consumer under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). In an effort to keep you as informed as possible, we supply the following information as a resource to you. If your credit report has been pulled through Partners Credit & Verification Solutions (Partners), we hope that this information will help you to understand your credit file and your rights. If you cannot find answers about your credit report here, we ask that you contact us and we will assist you.

Please understand that Partners Credit & Verification Solutions is a furnisher of data supplied by Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. We do not maintain or alter your underlying credit information, nor do we ever sell your information to third parties for marketing purposes. Additionally, Partners will never play a part in the approval or denial of credit. These decisions are made strictly by the companies (our customers) you are seeking credit approval from.

The most common scoring models used to determine credit worthiness are formulas developed by Fair Isaac, commonly known as FICO scores. In some instances they could be models developed by the credit bureaus. It is important to understand that there are various scoring models and versions available. A consumer report that you pull will likely have a very different score than a report pulled by a mortgage broker/lender. Partners Credit & Verification Solutions is a supplier of scores, but has no control over the manner in which scores are achieved. To learn more about credit scores, consult your credit report for the scoring model and contact the appropriate company directly.
